Walking this Earth, I’ve always believed magic will appear. As a competitive athlete who found a certain “zone” playing Division 1 basketball in college, I realized the same “flow” I experienced on the court, could also be found when creating art. Admiring artists from afar, I set out on my own journey, first by experimenting, then by studying design, composition, color theory and drawing at Otis College of Art and Design. As a partially colorblind artist, what appears presently in my work is an energy transference. The colors distinguished by my vision are different from the observer's. I channel vibrant color and let them create shapes and dictate the tone. The results are a kind of magic, or alchemy, where the viewer is invited to use their imagination and let the moment capture them.
